1. Meet Amyza Ismail who has been running poultry business for 11 years
Amyza Ismail from Kelantan shared her bittersweet story of how she started her own poultry business with her business without single cash and experience.
It’s all thanks to her dedication and determination to help support her family and to prove that she can do anything that she wants.
2. She married at such a young age. But, people seemed not supporting her idea
Amyza and her spouse married in 2008 where she was 19 and her husband was 22 at that time. By the time they got married, people seemed to against it. It was because they did not have any academic qualification nor a stable job. They were so young to even understand what is a marriage. But, Amyza didn’t take it personally and believe in what she’s doing.
3. Both of them did multiple odd jobs non-stop from day to night
Despite what people said about them, both of them didn’t stop from working together to achieve their goals and dreams and at the same time to support the family.
During the earliest day, they built a small wooden shop to sell fresh and frozen chicken. At night, both of them sell satay to earn extra money. Amyza and her husband keep supporting each other and that’s the sweetest thing about them.
4. She suffered a huge fall when she lost her late father’s house
A drastic episode happened when she lost her only late father’s house. It is said that they don’t have valid evidence to prove that the land belongs to her. Due to the negligent of documentation, they had to let go of the house.
In order to get the house back, Amyza and her husband did four jobs at a same time to buy the house back. Luckily after several years, they managed to save money.
5. Now, they have a huge and luxurious house and the business is expanding
All the ups and downs taught her to be a strong woman and never give up. After 11 years, her poultry business, Berkat Illahi has expanded immensely. With the income, they built a huge and fancy house in Kelantan and even has several assets as an investment.
6. “Don’t be ashamed of what you do”
It’s okay if you don’t have a stable job. You don’t have to compare yourself with people who wear a tie and jacket. Everyone is working hard to make ends meet. Always believe in yourself even though your family members don’t support what you are doing. Be like Amyza, without any academic qualification, she works hard to start her own poultry business and now, she has collected valuable assets for future needs.
