Sunperry Furniture, one of Malaysia’s leading designer furniture providers, has officially been awarded the Malaysia Book of Records title for “Most Custom-Made Furniture Designs for Hotels.” This prestigious honour recognises the company’s lasting contributions to the nation’s hospitality and interior design industries, built on over 16 years of excellence in bespoke furniture craftsmanship.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone for Sunperry and was fittingly held at Hyatt Centric Kuala Lumpur, a landmark project that stands as a testament to the company’s supply capabilities. The hotel features Sunperry’s custom creations across its signature spaces, including the Arrival Lobby, Tan Buri Café, All-Day Dining, and Sky Bar, reflecting the brand’s commitment to detail, functionality, and aesthetic harmony.
Sunperry Furniture was established in 2009 and has been officially owned by Modesco Sdn Bhd since a business restructure in 2020. It is known for its bespoke design, technical excellence, and commitment to quality. The company specializes in custom-made furniture for hospitality, F&B, corporate, and residential projects. To date, Sunperry has completed over 2,160 hotel and commercial projects across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Among its most notable hotel clients are Putrajaya Marriott Hotel, The Granite Luxury Hotel Penang, Wyndham Acmar Klang Hotel, Eastin Hotel Penang, Equatorial Hotel Penang, Qliq Damansara Hotel, and Palm Garden Hotel Putrajaya. Sunperry’s craftsmanship also extends to premium lounges at KLIA and KKIA, along with a diverse portfolio of restaurants, show units, corporate offices, banks, and hospitals.
