In the true spirit of togetherness, cultural pride, and festive joy, KL Wellness City hosted a vibrant Hari Raya Celebration “ Sejahtera Raya Bersama KLWC” that brought people from all walks of life together for a memorable morning of laughter, love, and lights.

The celebration, held at KL Wellness City Gallery at Bukit Jalil, was a colorful affair that captured the essence of Hari Raya – a time for forgiveness, unity, and festive cheer. Guests were treated to a lively and heartwarming event filled with music, dance, and traditional delights.

One of the highlights of the day was the exclusive premiere of the Hari Raya Music Video (MV) self-composed and copyrighted by KL Wellness City, showcasing the beauty of tradition, community spirit, and modern creativity. The MV featured a soulful Raya tune accompanied by beautifully choreographed visuals that celebrated family values, friendship, and cultural heritage.

The morning came alive with song and dance performances that kept the audience mesmerized. Talented performers, dressed in traditional attire, graced the stage with rhythmic zapin and joget, while the crowd joined in singing and dancing along to classic and contemporary Hari Raya songs. Over 180 dancers attended this celebration, adding to the vibrancy and energy of the event. The atmosphere was electric with joy, laughter, and the infectious beat of celebration. The live performance, featuring staff and participants in traditional attire, was a proud moment for KLWC, symbolizing cultural unity and artistic expression.
During the welcome speech, Dato Dr Colin Lee, Managing Director of KL Wellness City shared his gratitude and hopes for the festive season.
“Hari Raya is more than a celebration – it’s about togetherness, forgiveness, and cherishing those around us. Today, we are reminded of the strength of unity and the beauty of our culture. Echoing the sentiments, Executive Director of Branding, Sales & Marketing of KL Wellness City , Dato’ Sri Dr. Vincent Tiew, spoke about the creative collaboration and cultural expression.

In the lead-up to Hari Raya Celebration, KLWC ran a Hari Raya Dance Challenge on social media from 24 March to 16 April 2025. The contest attracted more than 3.69 million views. Winners of the contest were announced on 17 April via social media (Facebook & Instagram) and were presented their prizes at the event. Three winners walked away with iPhone 16 each, while seven other winners received festive gifts.
Guests were treated to a delectable spread of traditional Hari Raya favourites including rendang, ketupat and an array of kuih-muih – completing the day with flavours as rich as the performances.
The Hari Raya Celebration successfully brought the community closer, reminding everyone of the values that make this festive season so meaningful. As the day ended with warm hugs and cheerful snapshots, it was clear that the event left lasting memories and a renewed sense of unity.
