Entrepreneur and influencer Khairul Aming is on fire! The man behind the viral Sambal Nyet and Dendeng Nyet has just announced that his business raked in a whopping RM42 million in sales for 2024, more than doubling last year’s RM20 million revenue.
Sharing the exciting news on social media, Khairul Aming credited the massive growth to one game-changing strategy: live streaming.
Khairul Aming Proves Live Streaming is the Future
“Two years ago, I noticed the e-commerce market shifting towards live streaming because it allows for stronger engagement with customers. 70% of our RM42 million sales came from live streams,” he revealed.
This interactive sales approach isn’t just about selling; it’s about connecting. Customers can ask questions, get instant answers, and see the products in action, making it much more effective than traditional e-commerce listings.
“Sometimes, in just one hour, we can hit half a million in sales, depending on the planning and execution,” he added.
Bigger Production, Bigger Growth

With demand skyrocketing, Khairul Aming knew he had to step up his production game. Previously, his hit product, Sambal Nyet, was limited to just 1,000 to 3,000 jars per day, which meant constant sellouts and frustrated customers.
“The demand was crazy, but our supply was super limited. So with Dendeng Nyet, we changed the approach from day one by ramping up production so customers could buy without hassle,” he explained.
And that’s not all. To keep up with the surging demand, he’s now expanding further by opening a third factory in Kelantan this year. That means more products, faster deliveries, and happier customers!
“Right now, we have two factories, two products, and 100 employees in Kelantan. We can now produce tens of thousands of units per day,” he said.
Record-Breaking Sales Milestone
Khairul Aming reflected on how far his business has come, recalling how it once took him three months to hit RM1 million in sales.
“Looking back, it used to take us about three months to reach RM1 million in sales, but now, Alhamdulillah, we are on track to achieve RM1 million in sales every week,” he shared.
And with Ramadan, a peak season for food-related businesses, demand is surging higher than ever.
“For this year’s Ramadan, the demand has been extraordinary. We still have tens of thousands of pending orders that we’re working hard to fulfill as soon as possible,” he added.
A Big Vision for 2025

Khairul Aming isn’t slowing down anytime soon. In addition to the new factory, he has big plans for the future, including launching a third product and expanding his live-streaming team.
“This proves that when it comes to online business, you can run it from anywhere! We’ve been doing this from Kelantan for five years now, and Alhamdulillah, it’s been smooth sailing. We’re going to keep growing as much as we can,” he shared.
He also wants to give back by starting a mentor-mentee program to help SME business owners scale up their businesses.
“Thank you for your support. This marks our fifth year in business. Hope we can continue to expand in the years to come!” he wrote.
