One of the successful initiatives is the conversion of HPSV street lights to LED in PBT areas with an allocation of RM50 million. KPKT approved 12,336 LED street lights, surpassing the original target of 10,000 units and achieving 123% of the target.

In addition, KPKT also approved an allocation of RM50 million to upgrade dilapidated public markets in PBT areas. From a target of 100 units, 89 public markets have been approved for upgrading, achieving 89% of the target.

The initiative for the development of Kampung Baru Cina also recorded significant success with an allocation of RM100 million, involving the approval of 1,678 projects.

For the maintenance of Non-Islamic Places of Worship (RIBI), KPKT allocated RM50 million with a target of 350 projects. To date, 338 projects have been approved, nearly meeting the set target.

KPKT also focused on upgrading and repairing drainage systems with an allocation of RM20 million. From a target of 40 projects, 73 projects have been approved, achieving a remarkable 183% of the target.

In efforts to address flooding issues, KPKT approved 182 flood retention pond maintenance projects under PBT with an allocation of RM50 million, achieving 182% of the target of 100 projects.

MADANI stalls in PBT areas also received an allocation of RM60 million with a target of 100 projects. A total of 172 projects have been approved, achieving 172% of the target. This is part of KPKT’s efforts to improve the standard of living and local economies.

The MyKiosk@KPKT Hawker Stalls initiative, with a budget allocation of RM100 million, set a target to establish 4,000 units. To date, 3,981 units have been approved, indicating near-complete achievement.

The initiative for the maintenance or replacement of MADANI 2.0 lifts, involving an allocation of RM146.6 million, set a target of 76 projects. This target has been fully met, marking a success in ensuring the comfort and safety of residents in high-rise buildings.
