MCWEA Event Highlights Organisational Governance and E-Invoicing

The Malaysia Chinese Women Entrepreneurs Association (MCWEA), supported by the Associated Zong Xiang Chinese Chamber of Commerce (AZXCCC), recently organised a highly informative event focusing on organisational corporate governance and E-Invoicing.

Leading the discussions on organisational governance were Dato Sri Dr. How Kok Choong, Mr. Chin Chee Seong, and Ms. Yong Siew Lee, with Ms. Lenny Chiah serving as the moderator. The session provided valuable insights into the “4 Ps” of governance: People, Purpose, Processes, and Performance. The speakers emphasised the need for transparency, accountability, integrity, risk management, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) to ensure sustainable business practices.

The E-Invoicing segment featured a presentation by Ms. Cindee Wong, who detailed the benefits and implementation strategies of E-Invoicing. The Guest of Honour, Dato Sri Robert Lim Jia Yee, National President of the Associated Zong Xiang Chinese Chamber of Commerce (AZXCCC), and the Organising Chair, Datin Sri Jessie Wong, National President of the Malaysia Chinese Women Entrepreneurs Association (MCWEA), graced the event with their presence.

The event underscored the collaborative efforts of the Malaysia Chinese Women Entrepreneurs Association (MCWEA) and the Associated Zong Xiang Chinese Chamber of Commerce (AZXCCC) in promoting best practices in organisational governance and modern business solutions. The sharings provided valuable insights and actionable strategies for businesses and entrepreneurs to implement in their respective organisations.
