The World Brands Foundation (TWBF) proudly hosted The BrandLaureate SMEs BestBrands Awards 2023, a prestigious event that honours the outstanding achievements of SMEs in Malaysia. Despite their challenges, these resilient and innovative SMEs have made remarkable progress and contributed to the country’s branding landscape.
The Awards aim to recognize and highlight the extraordinary journeys of SMEs, showcasing their commitment, innovation, and perseverance in building impactful brands. By acknowledging their exceptional accomplishments, TWBF hopes to inspire and empower other aspiring SMEs to strive for greatness.
This year’s Awards embraced the theme: STAY UP, STAY ON, STAY AHEAD TO ADVANCE FOR YOUR BRAND! It celebrates the unwavering determination of SMEs who have remained resilient in the face of adversity, stayed focused on their brand vision, and stayed ahead of the competition to achieve outstanding success.
Dr KKJohan, World President of The BrandLaureate, emphasized that the journey of SMEs is an ongoing process of growth, where each milestone represents an opportunity to learn, evolve, and redefine what is possible. Dr KKJohan highlighted the importance of embracing change for SMEs and encouraged them to seize the moment and create their own perfect opportunities for success.
A significant moment of the evening was the official signing of a strategic collaboration between The BrandLaureate and Universiti Malaya Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCed). This collaboration will enable UMCCed to confer the certification of Certified Brand Manager, facilitated by The Education League, the education arm of The BrandLaureate.
The event also marked strategic partnerships with SME Corporation Malaysia as The BrandLaureate SMEs BestBrands Awards – Strategic Business Partner, Universiti Malaya Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCed) as The BrandLaureate SMEs BestBrands Awards – Strategic Education Partner, The New Straits Times Press (M) Berhad (NSTP) as The BrandLaureate SMEs BestBrands Awards 2023 – Strategic Media Partner, and MasterMind Council as The BrandLaureate SMEs BestBrands Awards 2023 – Strategic Business Alliance.
Among the notable recipients of The BrandLaureate SMEs BestBrands Awards 2023 were ALTY Orthopaedic Hospital, F.O.S Apparel Group, IM Global Property Consultants, Kings University College, Malayan Adjustment Company, Putrajaya International Convention Centre, Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd, Serai Group, and many more.
