1. Gooi Chuen Kang
Alternate Director to Gooi Seong Heen
Gooi Chuen Kang was appointed the Alternate Director to Gooi Seong Heen on the Board of KLR on 31 March 2016. Currently, he holds the position of Plantation Director at Kim Loong Resources Berhad (KLR). In 2008, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
Prior to joining KLR, he worked as an analyst at Accenture Kuala Lumpur from 2010 to 2014. Since joining KLR Group, he has been actively involved in the company’s business operations.
2. Gooi Khai Chien
Alternate Director to Gooi Seong Lim
Gooi Khai Chien, the son of Gooi Seong Lim, the Managing Director of Kim Loong Resources Berhad, was appointed as the Alternate Director to Gooi Seong Lim on the Board of KLR on 31 March 2016. He initially served as the Investor Relations Director of KLR and later assumed the position of Investment and Development Director earlier this year.
In 2014, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, followed by a Master’s Degree in Investments and Wealth Management in 2015. His professional journey began as an Investment Analyst at Target Asset Management in Singapore from 2016 to 2019. During this time, he led the technology portfolio and supervised a team of junior analysts. Since then, he has actively contributed to the business operations of KLR Group.
3. Gooi Chuen Howe
Alternate Director to Gooi Seong Heen (Crescendo Corporation Berhad)
Gooi Chuen Howe was appointed an Alternate Director to Gooi Seong Heen on 31 March 2016. He holds a Master of Business Administration from London Business School and a Master of Science degree in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University.
The son of Gooi Seong Heen began his career as an investment analyst in asset management companies from 2008 to 2009. He later served as an investment manager in Primevest Holdings Private Limited from 2010 to 2015. Since then, he has actively contributed to the business operations of Crescendo Corporation Berhad (CCB) and currently holds the position of Marketing & Mill Director at KLR.
4. Gooi Khai Shin
Alternate Director to Gooi Seong Lim (Crescendo Corporation Berhad)
Gooi Khai Shin was appointed an Alternate Director to Gooi Seong Lim on 31 March 2016. He holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh, which he completed in 2012. During his studies, he embarked on a gap year and gained valuable experience as a synthetic chemist at GlaxoSmithKline (UK) from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, he joined Crescendo Corporation Berhad (CCB) and has been actively involved in its business operations ever since. Currently, he serves as the Project Director of CCB.
