Nadia Nasimuddin, daughter of the late Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin
Her late father was one of Malaysia’s most prominent businessmen and a self-made millionaire. The late Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin was a low-profile entrepreneur that founded the Naza Group.
The group had humble beginnings as a motor trading company and later her father expanded the companies in the group which include automotive franchises, property development, engineering and construction, telecommunications, strategic investment and food and beverages among others.
She is leading the group’s F&B division
The youngest daughter is now a director of the renowned multi-industry conglomerate Naza Group of Companies. As her forte is in F&B, thus she also heads the company’s F&B division – Lyfestyl Projects.
The past franchises that were helmed by Nadia under the NZ Diners Sdn Bhd were Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, Tutti Fruitti and also Morelli’s. She then launched two new dining ventures under Lyfestyl Projects which are Dotty’s and BLVD House.
Today, Nadia continues to run Dotty’s that now became a favourite brunch spot of residents in the TTDI area. Dotty’s made its debut in January 2016 and is now known for its artisanal pastries, cakes and bread and their best-selling pastries are croissants and salted egg yolk cronuts.
She also spearheaded two other personal business ventures
Apart from overseeing the F&B division of the Naza Group, Nadia also spearheaded two other personal business ventures – Portluxe and also Pop Neutral. Portluxe is a pre-owned luxury designer boutique that she started in 2014. Pop Neutral is another successful venture launched in 2021 – pre and post-natal body care brand.
Nadia started working in her family business right after completing her degree at the age of 22. She’s always enjoyed hospitality and wanted to pursue a career in the industry. According to Nadia, F&B came naturally to mind since she enjoys travelling and food. Now, she has done it for more than 16 years.
