Recently, a job vacancy poster published on ATV News Online went viral as it said to be willing to hire Malaysian talents for RM10,000 per month or SGD3,000. What makes it even interesting is the job offer is a 4-day work week basis.
Based on the poster, the opening positions are sales assistants and customer service specialists.
The job offer is too good to be true since the vacancy post har garnered over 1K and 400 shares on Facebook. Many people doubted asking if it was a scam. Since the jobs were so well-paid, many were thinking Singaporeans would have taken the jobs and Malaysians would not get the chance to apply
An online portal, Says.com contacted the Singaporean recruitment agency MCI Career Services to confirm the job posting. According to the recruitment agency, the viral job posting that offers up to RM10,000 monthly is real.
In an email response to the online portal, the recruitment agency emphasised that the job offerings at Changi Airport are not a scam.
According to the agency, the vacancy post was a paid job advertisement published on Malaysia’s daily Chinese-language newspaper, China Press for the purpose of its overseas recruitment drive in Johor.
However, the recruiter clarified the working location is at Changi Airport. But, their client is not Changi Airport Group.
Anyone who is interested in the job can visit Holiday Inn, Emerald Level 10, Johor Bahru for a walk-in interview on 19 August.
