The LEGO Group announces the opening of its first LEGO® Certified Store (LCS) in the southern region of Malaysia yesterday. Located at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru. Managed by Box of Bricks, the new LCS offers Malaysian an easy access to the world of LEGO®.
The new LEGO® Certified Store has “Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim” as its centrepiece, which was intricately built with 15,000 Lego bricks in six weeks

The new LCS, which serves as a new family-friendly destination, would add a local flavour with a diorama of prominent landmark “Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim” as its centrepiece, which was intricately built with 15,000 Lego bricks in six weeks by Bruce Lee Chiau Han and Michael Choy Kum Weng from Synergy Lego User Group.
Its Southeast Asia marketing director Rohan Mathur said the first LCS in Johor would bring learning through play to more children in Malaysia as the beauty of the Lego System in Play is the ability to build, unbuild and rebuild with Lego bricks, thus stretching one’s imagination and creativity while having fun.
Kids and adults can create the Lego set of their dreams at the Pick a Brick Wall

“Our stores are often the first touchpoint we have with children and their parents to kickstart their Lego journey. It is our wish to continue expanding our footprint in Malaysia to develop more builders and shapers of tomorrow,” he said.
Kids and adults alike are also welcome to create the Lego set of their dreams at the Pick a Brick Wall where they can find the desired brick to complete their masterpiece, or build their own Lego characters piece by piece at the Build-a- Minifigure Station.
