Many motorists with outstanding traffic summonses will be pleased to know that The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) are offering up to 50% discount for selected summonses. PDRM have announced that traffic summonses can be paid via online and it only applicable for 4 days starting 18 May until 21 May.

Bukit Aman Traffic Investigations and Enforcement Department director Deputy Comm Datuk Azisman Alias hoped that the discount would come as a relief to motorists are burdened by challenging times.
“We understand some may be facing difficulties during the movement control order (MCO) while others may be preparing to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri.”
He also said traffic service counters at district police headquarters nationwide would start reopening in stages beginning May 18 to facilitate people who prefer paying in person. The service counters will be setting up for summonses payments as well as insurance documentation for road accidents.
Motorists should follow the SOPs when dealing at the PDRM counters to pay summonses
The counters are expected to be open from 9AM to 2PM every Monday and Wednesday in Perlis, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan. Meanwhile, in Kedah, Johor, Kelantan and Terengganu, counters will be open every Monday, Wednesday and Sunday from 9AM to 2PM. However, the counters will be open from 9 AM to noon on Fridays.
DCP Azisman also advised motorists to be mindful of standard operating procedures (SOPs) during the conditional MCO when dealing at the counters.
