Entrepreneur Development Minister Redzuan Yusof said he will take a test ride in Malaysia’s flying car tomorrow. Speaking at the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday, Redzuan said the test ride will be conducted at a specific location in a closed-door event.
So we can confirm that the flying car project is real, guys

He further shared the project was a private initiative and the government was merely facilitating it. This initiative was run by younger people who want to use innovation to help create the industry for people to follow.
He is still unsure whether he would be piloting the veehivle or be a passenger during the test. But would definitely sit in the vehicle.
The flying car project drew sarcastic comments when it was announced

The project was announced at the Langkawi air and maritime show earlier this year. It received sarcastic comments on both social media and from opposition MPs. Redzuan invited Mohd Shahar Abdullah (BN-Paya Besar) to witness the test drive at the Dewan Rakyat earlier this week.
“I want to repeat my invitation to the respected MPs. This Thursday, I myself will be riding the flying vehicle or two-man vehicle. If he wants to take pictures while sitting on it as it flies, we can sit together,” he said.
