Miss International Pageant 2019 is set to take place this November happening in Tokyo, Japan. And if you’re wondering who will be representing our beloved country, the answer is Charmaine Chew, a 22-year-old Kedahan.
Meet Charmaine Chew, a host and a model and soon will represent M’sia in Miss International Pageant 2019

Charmaine Chew is currently pursuing her studies in Public Relations yet still hosting and do modelling. In fact, she’s the face of top famous brands – Shiseido, Subaru, Sofy, UOB Bank and also Samsung.
She’s a TED Talk speaker too. Impressive!

The 22-year-old model was also featured in a TEDxYouth talk in 2018 where she discussed about ’embracing your quarter-life crisis’. In her Instagram post, she wrote:
“I binge-watch TED Talks since I was 15 and I can’t believe that I would achieve one of the biggest milestone in my life by becoming a TEDx speaker at the age of 21.
It was such an honor to be able to use my voice and my personal journey to inspire hundreds of youth last weekend. I am so humbled by the tremendous love and support that I’ve received in @tedxyouthskis“
She will compete against 82 contestants from around the world

Representing Malaysia, Charmaine will compete against 82 contestants from around the world in the 59th installment of Miss International. In an Instagram video, she thanked everyone for their support and she has read every DMs she received. She hopes she can make M’sia proud in Tokyo this upcoming November. In 2018, the contestant from Venezuela took home the crown and title.
