In conjunction with Earth Day, L’OCCITANE Malaysia is proud to announce the official launch of their first RECYCLING PROGRAM – “BIG LITTLE THINGS” in partnership with iCYCLE Malaysia, a local solutions provider of waste separation & recycling.
With this recycling program, L’OCCITANE Malaysia makes it very easy for everyone to play his or her little parts in reducing waste.
Everyone is now welcomed to bring their finished plastic, glass or aluminium container (any beauty brand) in clean & dry condition to the 15 selected L’OCCITANE Stores. Upon dropping off items into the recycle bins, all collected recyclables will be tracked, picked-up and managed by iCYCLE Malaysia.
Items will be then segregated into different categories of recyclable waste and sent to respective recycling factories to be weighed, washed & repurposed into new items, for example, plastic bottles can be recycled into raw materials of plastic pallets. This green product not only creates the second generation of used plastic but also replaces the wooden pallets to save timber. Materials of pallets include PET, HDPE, PP & etc which can be made into shoes, polyester and etc.
L’OCCITANE accepts empties of any brands from the categories of toiletries, face care, Haircare, body care, fragrance and home care products in the condition of DRY & CLEAN.
You may find our recycling stops at these locations – Utama (PJ), Sunway Pyramid (PJ), Suria KLCC (KL), The Gardens (KL), Pavilion (KL), Sogo (KL), Bangsar Village II (KL), IOI City Mall (Putrajaya), Setia City Mall (Shah Alam), Gurney Plaza (Penang), Queensbay Mall (Penang), Mahkota Parade (Melaka), Southkey Megamall (Johor), The Spring Kuching (Sarawak) and Imago KK Time Square (Sabah).
