Heli Outpost Sdn Bhd, is now in the midst of creating a new app called Heli Taxi will enable smartphone users to book helicopter service that will fly them to their destinations. It is as easy as booking a ride on your favourite taxi!
According to the company’s chief executive officer Faiz Fahmi Sazali, 30, the app was conceptualised on ‘real-time location tracking’. It also has a payment system for easy access by customers and can change the booking method used from manual to digital.

Heli Outpost Sdn Bhd has been offering Helicopter Tour for tourist for the past few years. The services offer tourists to fly around the Langkawi island and Kuala Lumpur. Tourists can choose from city tour to mountain tour, to island tour and other private trips.

The helicopter tours received a good response and in the first three years of operation, it recorded 5,000 passengers annually. The company recorded the highest number thus far at 18,000 passengers an average of 20 flights per day.
