Life can be hard sometimes but it’s not an excuse for us to quit. We can learn something new from our daily life and for this man, Zak Ba his Grab driver taught him a valuable lesson about life.
1. He used to be a millionaire and had a business in theoil & gas industry

A man in his middle 50 years old is an educated man who has a flair knowledge in business and corporate world. From the sharing, the Grab driver is from Kerteh and he used to carry the title “Datuk”.
He was once a millionaire and had a business relating in oil & gas industry. One can imagine how much he earned as one project can earn around RM 15- RM 20 million. He lived comfortably with his wife and three kids. Money wasn’t a problem for him and he used to have five expensive cars and three bungalows.
2. His life turned upside down in 2016

Everything went well until something drastic happened in 2016. His business started to collapse and he can’t afford to sustain it. It was all started with a project that he had done where he didn’t get the payment for it. What made it even worst was when his business partner cheated on him.
He couldn’t afford to pay the suppliers and workers. The bank kept on sending warning notice for him to settle the debt and unsettled loans.
3. Property on auction due to bankruptcy

Due to the loans and debts, the bank had to put all his properties on auction. He decided to hire a credible lawyer to get back all the pending payment from the previous project and the case took years to settle. But in the end, he had to close the case due to financial problem. The legal fee has accumulated around RM 100,000 and he can’t afford anymore.
4. His family abandon him

Due to his difficult situation, his wife decided to leave the house. They cannot fix the marriage anymore and his wife decided to ask for a divorce. His wife took all the kids with her with a new husband.
His family abandon him and he wasn’t invited for his own son wedding ceremony. All his family members and friends left him alone and don’t want to help at all. He tried to ask help from a bank but the bank rejected due to his outstanding debts.
5. Moving on is the final answer

Now, he only left with a Perodua Axia car to do Grab service. He’s now live in a rented room that cost RM 200 per month somewhere in Ara Damansara. His life has completely changed and he did Grab all day long to earn money for living.
There was an incident where he wanted to pick up a passenger in Subang airport and turned out the passenger was his friend, so he declined and ran away due to embarrassment. He can’t face his friends anymore and seeing him as a Grab driver is such a biggest failure.
6. He wished he can end it

All the obstacles happened in just a short period of time. From a millionaire now he does the odd job for a living. If he’s not thinking of God, he will definitely take his own life rather than living in a suffering way.
Indeed, he is not ready to face everything and the fact that his family abandon him makes him very sad. Now, he’s all by himself trying to be a better person by doing Grab service.
