In conjunction with Vinco Academy 10 Million Plan Project, the Charity Self-defence 2018 is hosted by Vinco Academy and Leo Club of Kuala Lumpur Central. The charitable event will be held on 1 April 2018 at Teratai Mewah Condominium Setapak from 9 am to 1 pm. Ryan Lim, the Taekwondo World Champion 2009 and the Ten Outstanding Young Malaysian 2017 Finalist, will be there to help create awareness to the community of Kuala Lumpur area, especially to the ladies and children, on self-safety and self-protection.
Founded in 1977, the Leo Club of Kuala Lumpur Central’s mission is to serve the community especially to the needs in Kuala Lumpur. This year, the club aims to serve the community, especially for ladies and kids. The self-defence seminar target for ladies and kids who usually become the victim in cases such as school bullies, domestic violence, and snatch thief. This seminar aims to create awareness for ladies and kids on self-safety and self-protection, to be able to release from the danger.
Subsequently, the Vinco Academy 10 Million Plan Project is a charity self-defence project that starts from 2009. Its objective is to teach more people to use self-defence. It targets the weak category such as children, ladies and old forks. The project covers seminar (offline), live media (online), and social media (FaceBook). At the end of 2017, this project covers 10 million people around the world.
