Although he is now an expert, Jamaluddin Bahari is still relatively new to the internet business. Prior to establishing Sifufbads in early 2013, the founding CEO had always referred to Facebook ads as an online marketing medium by selling products such as jerseys, glasses, baby items and more. “After reading articles related to internet business, I started testing it out by publishing e-books related to online marketing. At first, there were no buyers but after selling it via a website, sales just sky rocketed,” he shares enthusiastically, “and that’s how it all began!”
Jamaluddin’s publication rapidly caught the attention of several budding entrepreneurs and the positive outcome further encouraged him to start holding private Facebook marketing classes for small groups. As the classes slowly grew by numbers by word of mouth, the dedicated Jamaluddin decided to solely focus on marketing training.
“Sifufbads concentrates mainly on training and consulting in internet marketing. The first seminar that was ever organised brought in 200 people, which is already an impressive amount for a first timer. However, it has now expanded to an incredible amount of 1500 to 2000 people for each seminar. In addition to organising seminars and workshops, it also provides internet marketing training consultancy services to corporate companies,” reveals Jamaluddin.
With e-commerce dominating the world today, there are certainly many private institutes out there that offer courses similar to Sifufbads. However, Jamaluddin is confident that such matter is insignificant as the company is well equipped to continuously improve its training modules in order to stay relevant to the ever changing market. “Sifufbads provides more comprehensive business knowledge to entrepreneurs including financial management and capital management methods. Also, each seminar covers an extensive research module on product types, market expectations, audiences, advantages and weaknesses of competitors. And I can assure you that not many agencies can promise such thorough services.”
When he is not facilitating any seminar, Jamaluddin works vigorously to keep the spark in his business alive. “I always keep track of Sifufbads’ developments, which is why I am constantly reading books regarding marketing and business management. Through this process, I acquire new ideas that can help expand the business,” he explains. Notably, the forward-focused founder also believes that networking is crucial in every business, regardless of its sector. To that, Jamaluddin regularly meets up with fellow business associates to brainstorm and develop new proposals to sustain what he has built.
